About us… We are Ramón and Michelle, born and raised in Amsterdam. We met in 2011 at a party at Ramón’s neighbors’ house, and a few months later, we were living together with our five boys. It soon became clear that we both had a SPANISH DREAM, but with five boys still very young, that had to wait a little longer. Now, 12.5 years later, our Spanish dream has become a reality in the form of Casa Walhalla & Cortijo El Páramo. A self-created idyllic spot on the sunny Costa Tropical… Our goal is to offer our guests an unforgettable time in breathtaking surroundings and, above all, the opportunity to completely unwind and relax. As hosts, nothing is too much trouble for us, from tips on sights to various outdoor activities in the area to an extra towel by the pool. We would love to share our dream on the Costa Tropical, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada La Alpujarras National Park. Casa Walhalla is a small, self-created idyllic hideaway on the sunny Costa Tropical in Andalusia, Spain. Here you can relax in the sun by the pool while enjoying spectacular views of the beautiful Spanish mountainous Las Alpujarras nature reserve on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, and even the Mediterranean Sea. After a wonderful day of creative pursuits, sports activities, or a day at the beach, you can retreat here. For you, we have Cortijo El Páramo, your own luxurious private cottage with a romantic Bohemian Alpujarran atmosphere, where you can sleep comfortably and stock your own refrigerator.
