Visit Carcassonne, the city with two UNESCO classifications (Medieval City and Canal du Midi) and the department of Aude from a very pleasant single-story studio.
It is composed of a large south-facing bedroom (large bay window opening onto large terraces), with kitchen and separate bathroom. You will have the possibility to eat outside, sheltered.
This 35 m2 apartment is located in a large flowered and nicely wooded plot located 9 km from Carcassonne. Bicycles are available free of charge.
You will stay a few hundred meters from a very pleasant village (shops, post office, tennis) with a superb view of the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees.
A stone’s throw from the Cathar castles, the giant chasm of Cabrespine and the wooden village (Montolieu), you will not miss opportunities for outings.
The owners will be happy to provide you with information to help you make the most of your stay (routes, visits, wines, good deals, etc.).

The apartment is particularly well oriented: in the morning, the shade of the trees keeps the night soft. From noon, the overhanging roof protects from the sun’s rays and keeps the house cool. A large covered terrace offers a privileged space for meals, reading or relaxing.

The swimming pool is opposite the studio. It will be used by the owners and yourselves. Solar shower, sun loungers are available.
You can park your vehicle directly next to the house in a reserved space.
The place is very quiet and pleasant.
Continuing along the Aragon path, the small winding road will take you to the first foothills of the Montagne Noire and the picturesque village of Aragon.
Several Cathar castles (Lastours, Saissac, etc.) and abbeys (Villelongue, Caunes Minervois, etc.) are less than a quarter of an hour away.
The nearby Canal du Midi also offers unforgettable bike rides (canal bridges, ports, locks, inns, etc.).
